Stage Race Start/Finish Line Shuttles
Stage Race and Team Relay runners will have mandatory shuttle buses to the Stage 3 & 4 start lines at Mt William and Griffin Fireline due to very limited parking. These do not have to be booked. Note we have excluded Stage 2 here because it starts in Halls Gap and no shuttle is required.
Stage Race and Team Relay runners will also have shuttles provided to bring them back to Halls Gap from the finish lines at Mt William, Griffin Fireline and Dunkeld. These will be rolling shuttles running the entire finishing window. These do not have to be booked.
More information on the shuttle times can be found in the Event Schedule.
Miler Finish Line Shuttle
GPT100 Miler and Team Relay runners will have a shuttle provided to bring them back to Halls Gap from the finish line in Dunkeld. This will be a rolling shuttle running the entire finishing window. This does not have to be booked.
Sterling place dunkeld crew shuttle
Crew and Supporters will be able to access Griffin Fireline, Cassidy’s Gap and Bainggug Aid Stations via shuttle bus ONLY. There will be no parking permitted at these three final aid stations unless you have a baby seat in your car and a child that needs to access the aid stations as crew.
There will be two continuously rotating shuttle buses that will do a route from Sterling Place in Dunkeld, to Griffin, then Cassidy’s, then Bainggug and drop off/pick up crew along the route. The wait will never be more than 25 mins.
This is a necessary solution to reduce the congestion that we experienced with cars parking for hours on end at these later aid stations. Now crew will be able to spend all waiting time in Dunkeld, near the finish, with greater access to the comfort of the town of Dunkeld.
A maximum of three crew per runner will be allowed to get on the shuttle to access these aid stations.
