Gpt100 Miler (Solo and Pairs)

An “Aid Station Drop Bag” service will be managed by a team of volunteers from the Event Village in Halls Gap.

The Aid Stations where these Drop Bags will be made available will be via the Aid Stations of Halls Gap, Mt William Carpark, Jimmy Creek Rd, Griffin Fireline, and the Finish in Dunkeld.

Athletes are requested to provide all gear in their own labelled, insulated, zipped “Woolworths-type” bag where practical. Please clearly identify it with your bib number and the appropriate Aid Station (as above).

Drop Bags will be able to be dropped in Halls Gap Event Village at Registration and Bib Collection on Thursday and between 5:00 AM and 6:00 AM Friday.

GPT100 Stage Race

A “Finish line Drop Bag service” will be available for warm clothing and recovery items/food.

The Finish lines where these Drop Bags will be made available will be via all Finish lines of Halls Gap, Mt William Carpark, Griffin Fireline, and Dunkeld.

Athletes are requested to provide all gear in their own labelled, insulated, zipped “Woolworths-type” bag where practical. Please clearly identify it with your bib number.

Your Finish Line Drop Bag will be able to be dropped in Halls Gap Event Village for Stages 1 and 2 and at the Mt William and Griffin Fireline Start Lines for Stages 3 and 4. This way runners can add their warm clothing for the morning into their drop bag that they can leave at the Start lines on Saturday and Sunday.

Times drop bags are open for drop off:

  • STAGE 1: Wednesday at Halls Gap Registration and Bib Collection OR Thursday at Halls Gap between 4:00 AM - 4:15 AM

  • STAGE 2: Friday at Halls Gap between 5:00 AM and 5:45 AM

  • STAGE 3: Saturday at the Start line at Mt William from 5:30 AM

  • STAGE 4: Sunday at the Start line at Griffin Fireline from 6:30 AM

A Drop Bag service will be available for runners at Mt Difficult Rd Aid Station and at the finish line in Halls Gap for warm clothing and recovery items/food, managed by a team of volunteers.

Athletes are requested to provide all gear and items in their own labelled, insulated, zipped “Woolworths-type” bag where practical. Please clearly identify it with your bib number and the appropriate Aid Station.

Your Mt Difficult Rd Drop Bag and Finish Line Drop Bag will be able to be dropped in Halls Gap Event Village Wednesday at Registration and Bib Collection OR Thursday between 4:00 AM - 4:15 AM

GPT100 Team Relays

The Stage Race Team Relay are allowed to have a Finish Line Drop bag each day for the final runner as explained above.

The Miler Team Relay is also allowed to have drop bags at each of the above Miler locations, however this is most likely to be useful only for the Jimmy Creek Rd Aid Station for the Leg 3 runner.
